JHT Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level.
• Knowledge at the level of Matriculation of a recognized Board or equivalent of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

Age Limit

• The applicant should have completed the age of 18 years and should not be aged above 30 (UR candidates) for Junior Hindi Translator as on the last date for receipt of online application.
• Upper Age Limit is relaxable upto 05 years for the regular employees working in Council / Government / Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertakings in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Government of India/CSIR from time to time in this regard.

JHT Selection Process

Selection to this position is to be made on the basis of open written competitive examination. For the post of Junior Hindi Translator, there will be two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II). The second paper will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the selection committee) in the first paper.
